Kyle just turned 1 year old last week!

He loves playing with Michael!

Kyle is toughening up Michael already! It's as if Kyle is Michael's big brother :-)!

8 weeks....

Yes, Michael is really 8 weeks already! Crazy, I know!

He has been doing a lot of "new" things lately, some of which I was able to capture on camera.
In his left hand you'll see his burp cloth, which he likes to hold like a blankie! He actually grabs it from my shoulder after feeding him or in this case I put it on his leg for a moment and he grabbed it quickly!

He puts out his bottom lip when sad. In this picture I had been doing a workout DVD and he was happy at first and then quickly changed his mind. So sad!

He has been trying to suck on his thumb for weeks now. This is the closest he has gotten.


He likes watching TV. Becca was holding him last night at knitting club and he couldn't help but get distracted by the TV.

New sunglasses! We're trying to get him used to them just in time for summer...to protect his eyes and he looks cute as an added bonus!

7 weeks

Michael turned 7 weeks old on Wednesday! Mommy and Michael had a road trip together to MD from Monday to Wednesday and we had a great time. We visited aunts, uncles, cousins, and his great aunt Stacy and GG Susie (great-grandmom).

HAPPY Friday!

After Michael ate at 6:30am I put him back in his moses basket next to our bed. Jason and I started to hear the HAPPIEST noises we have ever heard. So, I looked over the edge of the bed at Michael and sure enough he was displaying the BIGGEST smile I have ever seen. He didn't stop there....he just kept on making happy noises and smiling. This is the most he has smiled in a row! Jason and I enjoyed this for about 40 minutes or so before we all decided to come downstairs. But, in the meantime I was able to run downstairs, grab the camera, and capture Michael's smile. Woo hoo! I was obviously anxious to share it with everyone. Enjoy!
